Hello, I made this bivvy last winter but would like help to redesign and perfect this project. The thing I noticed and need assistance on is fixing the foot ventilation and adding a face bug net.

As you can see I originally had 1.5oz cuben at the feet as a protection from wet feet when my up rub against a tarp wall, but it came off quick when I realized it worked against my foot ventilation. Still the m90 does not let my feet breathenough. I have seen bivvies with mesh gaps at the ankle or center zipper that trails down to the knees. Is there a design that works for clammy bivvy feet but still does it's job for cold stormy bivvy weather? Would replacing a strip of m90 with challenger hybrid material at the head and feet, like Zpack's bivvy make much difference?
Also I have a m90 triangle wind break that I used as a sit up cover when I get up from sleep. Worked great when I set it up right but primarily was used as a pillowcase for shirts stuffed under it. I want to remove it and do a meteor style net. But is it ridiculous to use 5 momme silk instead of bug mesh? it seems to weigh less and feels 100 times softer on the skin.
I appreciate any of your feedback and bivvy lessons
