Check out the latest Mountain Gear catalog center sale section for some good glove deals. I prefer GTX gloves' breathability over brand name, proprietary "breathable"/waterproof liners. So I got the Marmot Piste gloves. I neded moderately warm gloves for everyday skiing use and these are perfect, as is the $39. price tag. I thinks it was $42.total with shippping.
Try to get GTX gloves for that price at stores this time of year. Not gonna happen unless it's Sierra Trading Post.
