Any ladies out there using Uniqlo's Ultralight Down series? Would love to hear about sizing–true to size, small, large? Also, weights? I'm curious about whether it's worth trying the "compact" jacket or vest as a summer layer–are they significantly lighter weight than regular "ultra light" down? Hoping someone out there can post some specs, but considering how good the prices are maybe I should just take the plunge… ;-)
Mar 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm #2183204The Uniqlo UL jackets are a fantastic value for an "in-between" down jacket. They are a full size smaller than brand-name jackets, like Patagucci or Marmot (my W's L Uniqlo fits exactly like my W's M Ghost Whisperer). My Uniqlo W's L = 7.4oz.
