A nice weekend hike with Jim Colton on the Superior Hiking Trail in Minnesota, near Finland. Snow was a couple of feet deep – our snowshoes sunk into the snow about 10-14 inches with most every step, making for slow going. But mostly gorgeous weather, great campsites and an enjoyable hiking companion made for a wonderful winter weekend.
