I’ve been really liking this little Boker BFF Packlight in Magnacut. It’s useful across a wide range of tasks/environs including food prep and saltwater. It’s easy to clean + care for, and there is no where for sand/food to gunk it up. It pocket carries really well, and I do not find the need to adorn it in paracord. The knife itself weighs 1.1 oz, but the stock sheath weighs over half that and is bulky. So I’ve made this PLA sheath which is only 4.5mm thick. It disappears in the pocket.
Mods:
- Flat ground spine – now strikes a ferro rod well.
- 3d printed sheath w/ retention tab for a secure “click”.
- 3/16″ ferro rod with 3d printed handle (weighs less than 0.1 oz).
