With the Jetboil Stove (Jetboil Personal Cooking System) is slated to arrive at major retailers in March, excitement about the stove at the Outdoor Retailer 2004 Winter Market is exceedingly high. Herein, we offer several photos of the Jetboil stove, a discussion of its features and specifications, and a first looks analysis of its performance (boil time). We discuss both strengths and weaknesses of the Jetboil Stove and its application for lightweight backpackers considering that it probably won't meet its claimed 90 second boil time in real world conditions.
