We first reported on the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Pad from Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. Since that time, Backpacking Light has been able to spend time with a pre-production pad in the laboratory, in our living rooms, and in the field. When the pad was announced by Cascade Designs, the NeoAir promised to surpass the comfort:weight, warmth:weight, and warmth:pack size ratios of existing commercially available sleeping pads.
