Unfortunatley, wilderness walking has taken a backseat to raising a family and starting a new carrier in the last 15 years. Now as my two sons are getting older and are carrying most of their gear, we find many excuses to hit the trail. My oldest has recently joined The Boy Scouts and it has brought the outdoors back into our lives.

I’ve lived vicariously through many BPL blogs and articles and now get to live them myself!
