Backpacking experience: completed 8 Philmont treks, 64+ days on local Philmont shakedown trips, 8 days on Continental Divide Trail in Colorado, twice for 6 days in Yellowstone, 5 days on the AT in Shenandoah Park, and three or four local trips per year since 1988.
