We stopped by the Manzella booth and asked them to show us the perfect glove for ultralight backpacking in windy and showery conditions. After looking at a few gloves for SWAT teams, etc., which didn't quite hit the mark, they came up with their Silkweight Windblocker gloves. At only 1.6 ounces per pair in size large for gloves that combine wind and water resistance with a good degree of warmth and durability, these gloves appear to be a hit.
