In the late 2000’s, Backpacking Light hosted what was then one of the most popular podcasts in the Outdoors & Recreation category. When the financial crisis hit in 2008, we made the difficult decision to stop podcasting. Advertising dollars dried up and we could no longer support the high costs of professional production and high bandwidth audio hosting.
It was one of those activities our members have greatly missed. As many of you know, we have been considering reviving the podcast and are getting closer to bringing the Backpacking Light podcast back again.
