    I went hiking with ChatGPT

It left all navigation to me

    I was feeling distressed

    ‘Cause my ChatGPS

    Accessed maps from 1923.

This one made me laugh, and I immediately was reminded of the NAD27 datum.  :-)

So what does a limerick weigh?

There’s one in my pack yet it’s hard to say.

But since this is Backpacking Light

and spreadsheets tell us what’s right,

I’ll leave the poetry out today.

A Snow Leopard stole a new stove
Being held in an Ocelot trove
    He got in a spat
    With a big Bobcat
Who gave him the old heave ho.

    And, with apologies:

There once was a boy from Not-tuckett
Whose camp stove fell into a bucket
    His limericks were bad
    (Not a creative lad)
He hopes Jon Fong won’t just chuck it!

I’m digging a cathole to poo
The cathole’s for me, folks, not you
    It’s six inches deep
    My poo for to keep
Then I wipe with a stick, and I’m through!

At least, almost through I should say
Since I have to cover this bug buffet
    First I water it down
    Then stir all around
Add dirt, then get on with my day…

The end of the contest is near
For a prototype that I hold so dear
    A winner selected
    The others rejected
And for one, they can celebrate with a beer

Just a reminder, there are only a few days left to enter the contest.  Best wishes!

    To make it clear

    i don’t drink beer

    now my rhymes you’ve seen

    not to be mean

    just give me the screen

    forgive the abuse

    i really have no use

    not for it

    as I have my kit

    I’m sure it’s nice

give it to someone who’ll use it twice

20, 20, 24 hours to go, I want to be sedated
This silly contest just might be, a bit over-rated
    Design for the Soto

Congrats are in order for Jerry!

On BPL he’s as sweet as a berry

    He hikes in the rain

    And never complains

When he’s near what can one be but merry?

    CONGRATULATIONS, JERRY!!!

and now I tried it, thanks for sending me this

nice workmanship – laser cut titanium?  spot welded

it worked as advertised.  A little fiddly to figure out how to install it the first time, but the second time easier.

I have this idea about comparing this to a couple other windscreens.  Your design is the smallest possible of just the burner head, so it should weigh the least.
