Free fuel bottle with turret dispense cap forย bpl members(send PM at time of purchase to get free gift)Features:
Aluminum body
Spillproof
Screw top lid prevents fuel evaporation (lid not recommended for putting out flame)
Flame can be blown outStainless steel wire mesh prevents wicking material from falling out and deterioration due to flame heat and handling. Competition burners don’t have this important feature. HEADS – UP!
Wicking material pulls the fuel upwards for a more efficient burn as compared to carbon felt and pink fiberglass insulation that just absorb the fuel
Great for use with cone shaped windscreen/pot supports
Note: Requires a separate pot supportTechnical:
Dimensions: 2 1/8″ (55mm) diameter x 11/16″ (20mm) tallWeight: .5oz (14g)
Capacity: 1oz (30ml)

And the “Moderators” allow Stormin to do this to me
I shared a lot of do it yourself information with the world via the Appalachian Trail Enthusiasts via Whiteblaze.net
The 2X2 stove was made with a screw on lid container. The thread over there is dated 08-13-2006

Sep 28, 2018 at 8:28 pm #3557699Yep. This exchange benefits no one.
Edit: Delete this whole thread for the good of everyone.
Sep 28, 2018 at 8:41 pm #3557700Aye – it does.ย It bursts the notion that backpackers are all like-minded & reminds us there are just as many shysters in the community as outside.
Sep 28, 2018 at 8:51 pm #3557703This is why we have lost so many contibutors of late…petty aggression benefits no one.
Stormin – your posts offer nothing of value, and clearly exist merely to put the boot in. I have no idea what happened to make you feel that you need to attack everything that Dan posts, but you have succeeded in making certain that I would never puchase anything you offer. I doubt I am alone.
Sep 28, 2018 at 9:20 pm #3557706JCH. It seems the boot is on the other foot now. If you have been offended by my posts then I offer my sincere apologies. Regarding putting the boot in, please read back on other posts of mine and the subsequent replies by the protaganist.
Sep 28, 2018 at 9:44 pm #3557709Please take this offline – I have the least interest in a pissing contest (and I’m sure others on here agree) regardless of the merits.
The moderators are asleep at the wheel as usual……
Sep 28, 2018 at 11:41 pm #3557727I’v shared a ton of info here on BPL as well. I can see the writing on the walls, my time is short here.

Sep 28, 2018 at 11:49 pm #3557729Thread locked. Iโm done with all of the bickering. Contribute postitively or I will delete and lock. Play nice or you canโt play.
