JMT update: ran into a medical issue in the last throes of the trail and had to pull the plug. At the trailhead, all is good. Will post more later.

Aurelien Sanchez has announced an unsupported attempt starting Friday (9/15). Unlike Sean, it looks like he has an excellent weather forecast to look forward to. I’ll put up a new thread on Friday to follow him.
