Like to get a dehydrator, do not usually use a stove. Especially like to dehydrate chicken. Can you rehydrate foods processed at home with cold water? Guessing no, like some input.
I dehydrate Costco Canned Chicken. You can re-hydrate it in cold water. The bigger the pieces, the longer it takes to re-hydrate. I leave mine in as big as chuncks as possible. Re-hydration takes several hours with large pieces. To speed up the porcess, just shred the chicken before drying it. That is what most people do. My 2 cents.
