I have some Cambric/Ventile like material and was thinking about making a poncho-tarp (5×8′-ish) with some of it, is there a pattern floating around?

I’ve owned a couple, but they are gone now.

    thanks in advance

    Mike,

    Isn’t that fabric non-waterproof?

    ^^ perfect- thanks!

not “waterproof”, but very (very) water resistant- I’m going to shrink it first and then treat it as well

over modern fabrics, probably not much- it’s going to weigh more and be less waterproof, but it does breathe quite well, is decently sturdy and a little more friendly to embers from a fire :)

some of my trips I try and turn back the clock a little- more wool, more wood, more steel, more fire :)

    I’m diggin’ the nostalgia, Mike!

I do the same on occasion.  It just feels good.

Would love to see the finished product!
