I’m already technology challenged as it is. When I went to upload a pic it said: “Image must be less than 1 MB”. Help please!

    PC or Mac?

Open a graphics/viewer/photo application and look in the menus for “Resize”.

On a mac I use Preview, and find “Adjust Size” under Tools.

On a PC I use “paint” that comes already installed

Be prepared to be ridiculed for using such a crude tool though

Maybe you can just click “save as” and it will reduce it enough.  I always choose a new name with “resized” appended to the original file name.  Maybe you have to click “resize”.  reduce maybe 50% in both axes.

Thank again Greg and Jerry. Success!  I just clicked on Edit and then Resize and lowered the number of pixels to get the pics small enough to upload.

Thanks from me too. Didn’t realize the resizing was done with resolution adjustment.

I think the photos can also be downsized with the Percentage adjustment, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it that way. Maybe the pics would be sharper with the Percentage technique, however they’re clear enough for my purposes.
