    @pierre, I got 2 milk pots in the mail today and started the project :)

    What size hole does your Roger stove require?

    I’m going to rig mine for an enclosed remote stove.

    That depends on how hot you want to get the inner rim of the outer pot. You don’t want to actually melt the aluminium.

    I would suggest about 100 mm. Much smaller than that and I think the outer pot could be intercepting the flames. Mind you, that is an ESTIMATE only! My Vortex stoves do spread the flame quite wide – which is otherwise useful.
