Blackleaf Canyon
First attempt at a trip video! This was an overnight, spring-training hike in the Rocky Mountain Front range on the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Blackleaf Canyon is an amazing sheer-wall that attracts rock climbers from the area; although, not another soul was to be seen on this hike. Maybe the washed-out approach road had something to do with that.
Miles hiked: 12 (round trip), elevation gained, apx. 2500 ft. Hiked on May 30, 2019. Perfect hiking temps, mid 70s F., but got a bit overcast with thunderstorms passing just to the south (luckily, not overhead).
Feedback not only welcome, but appreciated.
Thanks and hope you enjoy!
