Whilst wearing the BekoGear Peeko, do you ever say in a slow, deep, and creepy tone, “Hello Clarice..”?
More seriously, have you tried a straight, thin, wicking polyester, polygiene treated buff?
I have, and while ti does get damp, it dries better/faster than most other things, and the polygiene helps to keep down funk.
When it’s really cold (near 0*F or below), I’ve used it in combo with a Cap 4 hoody hood and/or windjacket hood, and been ok.
I also have a thin, micro grid fleece balaclava with polygiene that I sometimes use instead, but sometimes the above (buff) seems to dry a bit quicker in comparison. The only better thing about the micro grid fleece, is that due to the void areas, it feels less slightly cold on one’s skin when damp.
I’ve tried wool balaclavas but they are too much of a sopping mess (even rather thin ones) once they reach and pass their saturation point. The only one I kind of liked, was an OR one that only has something like 33% wool to rest polyester.
I’m missing winter right now.. :(
