So to stir Ken's pot….. I see Ryan brags about our 'communities' cumulative mouse clicks on the BPL mobile 'home' page.

"Advertise or Publicize at BPL

Millions of page views. Hundreds of thousands of users. And the deepest visitor engagement in the industry (we have the metrics to prove it)."

Too our more techy brethren, what is 'visitor engagement' and what comprises the 'metrics?'

Seems like he brags on us but gives us no love….

Thoughts: Manfred & Sons had an epic trip planned for 400 miles thru the Brooks Range. I picked them up at the Fairbanks airport and drove them hundreds of miles through Alsska and hiked in a dozen miles and left them with a few tasty roast beef / cheddar wraps. Then, when their tent zipper broke, I sourced a new one and get it air freighted to them.

Conversely, when I've pondered some trip with my own grade schoolers, I've never failed to get detailed responses from locals in the know thru BPL.

While only the initial set up of that may be due to Ryan, I appreciate the responses from the the BPL community.

If he was just talking to someone for no particular reason, then it would be bragging, but then he wouldn't use marketing buzz words

I'd call it disingenuous, at best.

And I continue to say that he and BPL have committed fraud against paying members, by taking dollars for specific items which were not followed through on.
