In case you haven't seen the sale over here
Aug 23, 2007 at 11:51 pm #1399798YES! I needed some new snowshoe runners. Thanks Ryan!
Aug 24, 2007 at 3:52 am #1399806How do those fit? I have a high instep and need a wide toebox. Merrells seem to work the best for me, do those have a similar fit?
Aug 24, 2007 at 7:45 am #1399818I tried on a pair of these and the Terrocs. I had ended up going with the Terrocs because they were just a bit wider in the toe box. But I couldn't pass up the deal on these so I ordered a pair of Roclites last night. They do run a bit small, so I would suggest ordering a half size up. (Though I've heard others go up a full size.)
Aug 24, 2007 at 9:32 am #1399834Thanks for the tip Ryan, I ordered a 12 which is usually the biggest I have to get (I wear 11 and 11.5 in some shoes). I ordered these after my first order, and the girl in customer service was really awesome and waived shipping for me since it was too late to cancel the order and combine them in a new one.
What other goodies did people get from the REI sale? I bought some cycling jerseys/jackets, some freeze-dry stuff since I never find it on sale, as well as the Diad and the Inov-8 GTX.
Aug 24, 2007 at 10:20 am #1399842Thanks! I bought them also. My 330s show no sign of wearing out, but when they do I will have these replacements. That is just an insanely low price. I got a 1/2 size up for a second sock, and/or foot swelling.
Now I need to wait for a good price on the 390s!Aug 24, 2007 at 12:09 pm #1399861I tried these and the 330s on at REI a couple of weeks ago. They definately were much narrower in the toe area than the 330s.
I ended up going with a pair of 310s on closeout from EMS at $59…..which I think are great.
$40 is a pretty darned good deal.

Aug 26, 2007 at 10:17 am #1400013I bought these too. I couldn't pass on the deal.
Just wish I would have known they ran a little small. We'll see when they come in.Aug 27, 2007 at 12:19 pm #1400119I ordered these 2 weeks ago for $75 from REI and just picked them up yesterday. The shoes initially feel great and I wanted to order a 2nd pair (for $40) but they only have a 10.5 now (11.5 feels good for me). They probably won't last my last 900 miles on the PCT, but hopefully they'll do most of it.

Aug 27, 2007 at 3:20 pm #1400136Yep, Now they're out of them on the website. Hope they fit.
Sep 5, 2007 at 12:03 am #1401087As of last night, the REI flagship store in Seattle, WA still had one pair of mens US size 12 on their clearance rack and I've known them to do phone sales in the past. If Goretex is your thing, good luck.
Sep 5, 2007 at 2:39 pm #1401149I finally picked up mine and guess what….. I had to return them. They run a little small. I really should have bought the size 11 too.
Sep 6, 2007 at 12:02 pm #1401275See my post in gear swap if you want to buy this shoe. ($44.00 + shipping which is sale price plus tax [8.8% rounded up to 10%].
