So when you're out on the trail, you don't want to carry a million tenkara flies and at the VERY minimum don't want to be carrying a bulkier 17g (Zimmerbuilt fly box weight – Lightest Found) fly box. So I started thinking…Mini Altoids Tin (14.2g)…nah. OH WAIT! I have a mini flip top box that would be perfect! My old ZPacks toothbrush case…9g…WIN!
i had a handful of lil dry flies in a mini raisins box, kids school lunch size, so i just weighed the box – 2.5 grams.
