Is anybody beside me getting a "backpackinglight.com is not responding due to a long running script" message since the software changes?

Not here…when I click Recent Threads, or on "Backpackinglight" at the top of a page…

Where is it happening to you?

"Where is it happening to you?"

Intermittently, but very frequently, when I click on a thread after logging on and going into new posts. also when I enter BPL via a link to a thread I am watching.

Edit: It just happened again when I posted this reply.

I just posted, refreshed, poked around without issues.

I've had no problems at all, today, or in the past.
But then I'm only a 'M'ember. Perhaps is a 'MLife' feature.

    hummmm…..

    "Perhaps is a 'MLife' feature."

Ah. The first tangible benefit I can point to. Probably an extra perk for my comments on the survey.

"See this post. Definitely an issue here"

I'm missing something, Ken. If you're referring to Abela's fix, that is for mobile devices and I'm using a desktop. Any suggestions? Thanks for responding, though. Hopefully, it's just something I'm missing.

You folks are gonna love this. I had clicked on "hide ads" when I logged on this afternoon.
Beginning of problem. Just now, I had a paranoid epiphany and clicked on "show ads". End of problem. Now, I'm wondering if this is due to some limitation in my PC software, or is there some other explanation. Is anyone else experiencing this sitution?
