My neoprene pot cover had a bad zipper which was stuck closed. The folks at AGG sent me a replacement immediately with a prepaid return envelope so they could research what went wrong. I was very impressed!
May 31, 2007 at 11:46 am #1390833Ordered some 8 0z alcohol containers — the company tried to talk me out of spending the money and gave me some suggestions on how to improvise them instead.
I finally talked them into accepting my order and which was promptly shipped for a reasonable shipping/handling fee.
Aug 23, 2007 at 10:11 am #1399725Having just purchased one of the new BPL FireLite 550 Ti Pots I was interested in the Caldera Cone Stove for the pot along with the Antigravity Gear Caldera Kitchen. Trail Designs maker of the Caldera Cone Stoves determined that though the BPL 550 fit the Cone for the BPL 500, the BPL 550 would perform about 15% better with the Brasslite 600 cone.
So I discussed the situation with George of Antigravity Gear. We checked and found that the Caldera Cone for the Brasslite 600/BPL FireLite 550 would fit into the Zip Lock 4 cup screw top container that he uses in his Caldera Kitchen. But, though the cone would fit, the top could not screw onto the container. George made up a special Caldera Kitchen for me that would house my Caldera Cone with all the other contents; the package was made to hold everything tight so as to not slip.
George made a special larger silnylon Stuff sack to house the Zip Lock 4 cup screw top container, Brasslite 600/BPL FireLite 550 Caldera Cone, Caldera Alcohol Stove, Alcohol Bottle, BPL 550 Ti Pot, BPL 550 Pot Cozy, and a Cozy for the 4 Cup Zip Lock container.
George made up this very flexible system for me the day that I ordered it and shipped it the same day. I received the package via Priority mail 3 days after I placed the order. Great customer service, with a great product (extremely well made) that was shipped extraordinarily quickly.
The kit that George made is/will be available for others if they need or want one.

Jan 1, 2008 at 2:06 pm #1414444Back in in late Feb of 2007, I ordered a 3 cup pot and corasponding calderia cone. About a day later I got a call from AGG saying that unfortunately they were sold out of 3 cup caldera cone system, and that they were inbetween runs. After I told TinMan that I was headed out on the AT for a thru he said he could send me the 2 quart system at no additional cost. When the packaage latet came, I recived the 2 quart caldera cone, pot cozy, 2 fuel bottles, a Tin Man stove, and a short note from tinman about hte order. This was beyond any expatition I had. AGG went, in my opinion, above and beyond what needed to be done.
Jan 2, 2008 at 5:14 am #1414520I have purchased two Caldera cones, some other misc items and enough tail food to do the Colorado Trail for 2. I have been most impressed with the service and the friendliness of the staff when speaking with them on the phone. The orders arrived promptly and the quality was excellent!
Jan 8, 2008 at 12:48 pm #1415322AGG and Trail Designs both provide fantastic customer service AND top notch lightweight gear. Their response time to my email questions is almost instantaneous and they take customer feedback seriously. I can't recommend their products enough…
Jul 1, 2009 at 11:34 am #1511533George & the folks at AGG are great. I've purchased several items over the years and have been very happy with everything.
Called and spoke about the Caldera stoves, cozys, etc. Had all of my questions answered and got some great advice as well.
May 26, 2014 at 10:15 am #2105986I've ordered from AGG 3 times.
Items were always exactly as described, prompt order confirmation, and handling times.
Customer service was honest enough to discuss an item with me which kept me from wasting the money for an item that wouldn't fit my needs. It cost them an order, but were more than happy to loose the business on that item in order to keep a great business ethic.
Couldn't be happier with them.
