Food resupply at Charlotte Lake – want to hire, looking for info

Hi all,

I'm planning to hike from MTR along the JMT to the junction with the HST (Haha) and then heading west through the Kaweahs and then probably back out over Kaweah Gap. I'd like to get a resupply at Charlotte to get me back over to the west side. I heard that there may be one or more folks over on the east side that have some type of informal service where they will pack in your food to you, for a fee of course. I'm hoping to avoid the cost of the seki pack train folks but they are my plan as of right now. So if anyone has heard about this or wants to make $100 or so to pack me in 6 days of food from Onion Valley to Charlotte on Sunday, Aug 19, let me know!

I was at Charlotte Lake on the 9th. There was a note from the Charlotte Lake ranger taped onto two trail junction signs along the JMT. Apparently somebody by the name of Klein had placed a food cache at Charlotte Lake, probably in a bear box. The ranger impounded it and left the warning notes.
