You can’t PM either yourself (or someone who has NOT entered their email address in their Profile. Note that this PROFILE email address may be different from your ACCOUNT email address (i know this firsthand as mine are different).

As Roger has already stated confirmed, the PM’s are sent to and rcv’d in your PROFILE’s email address, NOT your BPL account email address.
