I swear i saw a post here about converting a bug net into a tube that could go around any hammock. I have a hennessy but have had bad nights in it so far, but I also have an AT hybrid hammock that I nap in all the time. Favorite hammock of all time would have to be my hammock from merida which is triple woven, double sized with tiny poly strings for year round outdoor use, but not really all that reasonable for camping.
Thanks hangers!
hey try looking over at Hammockforums.net
lots of great ideas over there on bug nets
:)
Here you go..
Here is a solution from over at HF
but SRG Rock has some great ideas over on HF as well
he made an UL one out of Tool…the stuff used for dresses..
i'm going to try to make one for my UL hammock
Jarrod, just to clarify and avoid confusion for anybody trying to figure out the mesh you're referring to, it's spelled "Tulle".
The only issue with this stuff is it's UV properties from what I can tell, it can actually be surprisingly strong.
thanks Javan ……
