Can anyone tell me the pot diameters for the 1 liter and 1.5 liter pots in the MSR Titan™ 2 Pot Set.
Thanks
Tony

Not titanium but they are by MSR in stainless. The dimensions may be close as in this day and age of cost savings the dies that they use to press out the cookware could be the same.
Dimensions 4.5 x 7.75 in/11.25 x 19.7 cm
It's rather curious that one dimension is in inches and the other is in mm and appears to be only for the largest of the pots. !?!?!?!? :-P
I'm still searching for the actual specs on the Ti set.
Party On,
Newton

I think a lot of SS pots come from Korea, but there may be other sources too.Cheers
Aug 2, 2010 at 12:57 am #1634106Lots of the MSR SS sets were made in Thailand by Zebra. They used to be dual stamped. The great thing was that you could pay about AU$120 at Paddy's for both stamps, or AU$34.95 at Ozzie Disposals with only the Zebra stamp

Rod is right. I was running on memory without checking. Yep, Zebra brand. Weighed an absolute TON! Indestructible though.Cheers
Aug 2, 2010 at 10:58 am #1634233MSR has certainly flung the net far and wide sourcing their cookware. Early MSR Ti stuff was from Japan and is now from Thailand, as noted. The Blacklite aluminum stuff is/was from Italy and if one goes far enough back, the SS stuff used to be made in the States.
I don't know why gear trivia is so interesting, but I consider it a (mostly) controllable mental illness.
Cheers,
Rick
