Any ideas for a lightweight cord/wire I could use to rig a handle/leash on my steel wood stove?
I'm thinking of just picking up some steel/copper wire, but wondering if anyone has a better idea.
Cheers!
Bicycle spokes. Titanium or stainless. Or uncoated stainless wire.
Are you just trying to pick up the stove while it is hot?
Something like a steel bail on a cook pot? Simple enough.

Well, there's Kevlar cord and rope available online:
Kevlar Cord and Rope (1/8"-1")
or thread @ .018" diameter:
I've never used or had a reason for using either, those are just suggestions.
SUL Option: (~1g) 40 lb. Ti braided wire cable:
Multi-strand stainless steel leader wire from any fishing shop. They also sell crimps for the wire.
Cheers
Never considered fishing line, that's an excellent idea. Thanks everyone.
I want to rig a bit of a handle on my woodstove so that I can hang it, move it more effectively once finished cooking to start cooling it off, and to maneuver it on its side, as the circular frame is also useful as an enclosed grill over an open fire for larger items like casserole dishes and fish.
My stove is a home-made IKEA one, so it has tons of holes punched in it already for the line. I'll post some pics once I get it set up.
Cheers!
Fiberglass wick.
