Regionalized trip reports/announcements?

After reading a ton of these great trip reports here I was wondering if there is a possibility that the campfire (specifically the hiking partners/trip announcement/trip reports) forum could be upgraded with more regional selections like those on other forums. Right now it is hard to search through and frustrating when you read a good trip report then think to yourself that this would make a great trip only to find out that the location is halfway accross the country.
It would be great to see forums for the NE, SE, Mid-West,SW, etc…added to clear things up. Any thoughts?

Good idea. I suppose regional is the best from a functional point of view, but it might be interesting to talk about categorizing it according to terrain/weather (e.g., mountain, dessert, woods, beach, winter, summer).
