Ok, we'll see if this uploads right…
My daughter and I did a quick overnight to Tassajara, in the Ventana Wilderness, via the Horsepasture trail. The first mile was just cleared recently and the rest was pretty much bushwacking. We found no ticks, lots of Poison oak and the most incredible display of wildflowers I have ever seen, no joke. Tassajara creek was pretty full and we had to cross it six times; found some wider, slower flowing spots and with poles we had no problems. The "Narrows" were awesome swimming holes and the water cool but not cold. We pitched a tent across the creek, and a little ways from Tassajara Mountain Resort and Zen center, and paid a day fee to use the hot springs and the pool ( heated by the hot springs). Made our own food at camp, took it easy and hiked out mid day on Sunday.Somebody please tell me what I need to do to space these pictures!!!
May 5, 2010 at 2:57 pm #1606569How do I add descriptions to the individual pictures?
May 5, 2010 at 3:20 pm #1606591Nice…
What's the day use fee for Tassajara?
May 5, 2010 at 3:33 pm #1606610Hi Katharina
Well, as you seem to have found out, a few carriage returns between each img tag puts the spacing in.
For the captions – usually we just type the caption under the photo.
You can, if you wish, add a title to the img tag, thus:
<img src="pic.jpg" title="This is a picture">
This title will appear when you hover the cursor over the picture.Otherwise, great.
Cheers

May 7, 2010 at 11:12 pm #1607696looks like you ladies had a great trip, and so close to home (at least for me) if not for this bum leg I'd be doing the same :)
May 8, 2010 at 11:31 am #1607784I never heard of Tassajara before, so I did a quick internet search. That is another reason why I enjoy these trip reports…I really come to understand how many beautiful places there are in the world.
It looks like a great mother/daughter trip (as if there was such a thing a bad one).
Thanks for sharing.
