Hey,
I'm about to plan a 8 to 14 day trip in British Columbia this July / August.
I have been in Stein Valley before, but have only seen parts of it (due forest fires), so I could do the whole traverse.
But I'm trying to find another astonishing trip.
So please let me know where you would love to hike.
Cheers

More than three words:
Egad- there is simply SO MUCH in B.C.!
I put Spatsizi on my life list after seeing an article, in National Geographic IIRC. It'll take some research to come up with a route, though. And the locals will laugh at you for doing it without a mule train. :o)
It's near the Stikine River, a river that nearly killed me, so maybe I have a bit of an attitude about the region.

Then hop over to the Kokanee Park and climb some glaciers.
Maybe also try the via ferrata in the Purcells?

Sure.
Or, you could consider this on the north coast of Vancouver Island. Perhaps a yo yo to extend to 8-10 days:

Apr 5, 2010 at 4:49 pm #1594580I have been on some rope bridges, but that looks like it has some pucker factor! Very cool picture.
