Just went througha 6.5 earthquake in Northern CA!!! Lots of broken glass but we still have power for now but Eureka and north do not. ROCK AND ROLLLL!!
My home in McKinleyville made it through with no problems. I stood under a doorway for the 30 seconds and watched the light over my dining room table swing about 2 feet in each direction. Only had a few pictures and glassware fall over but nothing broke. Every picture mounted on the walls were lopsided but none fell off. HD TV didn't fall over either!
I drove into Eureka yesterday and saw many houses with damaged or destroyed chimineys. Costco appartently will be closed for a week becasue of all the things on the shelves falling down and the broken booze.
Fun times in Northern California. Gotta love it!
