Sep 15, 2009 at 5:07 pm #1527867Oh, Addie-
You don't need us to be gentle… it was a really wonderful article! You have an excellent way of crafting words. Thank you for a fun read!Sep 15, 2009 at 8:17 pm #1527920Very good article and video. I love how there has been a lot more videos with articles lately. I think they really bring it all together.

GREAT article, GREAT video, GREAT narration!!!
Now when are we going to do the ladies rock 'n roll class (white water and gourmet food)?Sep 16, 2009 at 7:48 am #1528018You are the queen of the written word, Addie. Snicker-snacking, river monsters, rattlesnake, tricked-out burgers–what images. And you get extra points for not allowing a sub-standard beer anywhere near your house!

Another reason to lament the passing of Summer.
Nicely done.
Sep 17, 2009 at 6:49 pm #1528441I enjoyed the article and video. Always good to get "beginner stories" on BPL.
Oct 6, 2009 at 1:31 pm #1533589Hey Addie!
Nice job and congrats on the write up and video. Looks like it was a great time! Sorry to have missed the fun, although I'm heading out for a paddle next week on the Green in UT. All the best.

Oct 6, 2009 at 2:58 pm #1533622Addie,
I much enjoyed your story, which I read just before departing for the September session of the course. We had a different venue (Yellowstone River from Gardiner to Emigrant, twice through Yankee Jim Canyon) but just as much fun. We rated some special attention, as a deputy sheriff was asked to arrest all of us for trespassing at 10.30 pm Saturday night. The BPL staff handled this the same way they handled the river, with tact and skill.
Looking forward to your next article.
