Looking for a particular shot I came across these ones and thought that some may like to have a look at them. They are all from the Grampians Region , North West of Melbourne. The last one is Storm, an orphan roo that I helped to raise. He was released to the wild not far from the waterfall.
All these shots were taken before the last big fires there 3 years ago.

Most of it is National Park so permit and restrictions apply. A very diversified area, some of those "mountains" give the impression of being much higher than they really are, about 1100 meter max.
At the northern edge there is the Little Desert , lots of interesting wild life there. The place is full of Aboriginal rock art sites some protected, others in remote areas are open if you can find them…
The two original tribes also carved lots of water holes, useful particularly during the summer.
