    Locale: Southern Oregon

    I made a fast trip onto the southern Oregon PCT this past weekend and thought others may be interested in the trail conditions encountered.
    First snow encountered at 5,000' elev.

    The first snow encountered was at 5,000' in elevation.

    Snow continued to get deeper with fewer bare spots at higher elevations .

    Snow continued to get deeper with fewer bare areas of trail as elevation was gained.

    Mt. Shasta

    Looking back at PCT from direction we traveled, trail is on side hill covered in snow just above tree line.

    All things considered a great outing.
