Kahtoola KTS Traction Systems Steel Crampon VS Alum. KTS crampon??? Which one would you get if you were to drop the $129? Same price, only difference is the steel is a few ounces heavier and slightly longer cleats (1/4 inch longer I last read).
If you are going to be on frozen rock much the Steel will stay sharp much longer than the Aluminum ones will. Even at a couple oz more it is well worth it. My Steel ones weigh 23.02oz.
