High on my wishlist for the promised BPL rewrite: a way to hide postings from selected users. Meanwhile, those of you with the technical chops to run user scripts in Greasemonkey or TamperMonkey can grab https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/12684-hide-bpl-trolls and exercise the nuclear option when you're reading forum threads. You'll want to edit the list of blocked users to match your own preferences. Don't like the idea? Don't install the script. Or install it and edit it to block my posts. It's just a quick 10-minute hack job. Feel free to make the xpath more efficient than looking at every A link, I can't be bothered at the moment.
Don't forget that you can use ad block to not see particular avatars. Another tool. Hammock Forums has a foe setting. Never see posts from you foes. Just like sticking you head in the sand. Only want to hear the good things. Very useful. Idiots.
