Anyone have any example of Night Shots or Star Shots they took with their Sony RX100? and the settings they used?
Just curious what everyone is able to do with this little camera. I think I have some I can post when I get home!
Jen Mitol posted some a while back. I am sure you can find it via the search function.
Here is a link to Jen's photos
Thanks for that link. I just PMed her to pick her brain,
and please share – learning myslef. thx!
Here is a really good article on night/star photography from an acquaintance of mine who takes some of the most amazing night shots I know of.
I'm pretty experienced with Night Shots and I really just haven't gotten the swing of the RX100. I usually use my Oly EM10 which takes GREAT night shots:
but the RX100 isn't there yet. I need to go get some milky way shots to really tell.
Which is why I was curious specifically with the RX100. I would love to see what others have been able to get with that camera.
are you doing the same with ISO, shutter speed and aperture??
How are you other shots with the RX100???
I took the rx1000 out on my trip in desolation this weekend and was more then impressed by the images it took. Clearly I just needed some more experience with it. I got some great night shots i was able to turn into a timelapse! Here's a still from it.
What were your settings? ISO, aperture, shutter speed…?
