About You	I have always loved camping, but in 2005 I decided to take on backpacking. Since then I have been backpacking all over Michigan and have had some amazing experiences! The journey, gear, freedom and fresh air are just what the doctor ordered! As I have been working on getting my pack weight lower I realized that other people just getting started with backpacking could use the information I have gathered on my journey.
