Put a layer of 1″ open cell packing foam, and adjust the cushion with down gear on top of the foam or other clothing below it, and you have a customizable pillow that can be tweaked for much better comfort than a wobbly inflatable pillow. Soft fleece on one side is nice to lay on, and Dyneema Composite Fabrics make it useful for water-resistant storage of other gear while you’re hiking.
