- This is the last version of the Splash Bivy Z-Packs made and sold before they stopped offering them. Great piece of gear, but I have a hexamid that is worth the extra 3 oz of weight. Price is $150 shipped CONUS (was $225 new plus shipping). PayPal only please.
- Â Used only once as an ultralight experiment. Been in my gear closet ever since. Â No rips, tears, or repairs and comes from a pet-free home.
- This is the largest version that ZPacks offered at the time. Dimensions when occupied is 84” (long) by 36 “ (wide, as measured across the center). For reference, I am 5’9” tall and have more than enough room when sheltered in it.  Weight is 209 Grams (7.37 ounces).
- Fully waterproof 1.0 oz/sqyd Dyneema bathtub floor. The Dyneema floor has 6 inch (15 cm) walls to protect against ground water.
- Water Resistant .70 oz/sqyd (23.7 g/m2) Ventum Ripstop Nylon top is coated with DWR to help shed dew, condensation, and light rain spray to protect your sleeping bag. The nylon top is highly breathable so you don’t overheat in warm weather. The nylon portion of the top is not waterproof, it will soak through in prolonged exposure.
- The head and foot of the bivy are enhanced with Waterproof-Breathable Dyneema fiber to block rain spray and protect from brushing against a wet tarp. There is a loop at both ends of the zipper for lifting the head and/or foot end for better air flow when attached to your shelter or pole, etc (shock cord and mitten hooks for both ends included.
- The top zipper entry is easy to get in and out of, and easy to open up for venting.
- The bivy will add some warmth to your sleep system- about as much as sleeping with just a sheet at home. On hot summer nights you may not need a sleeping bag.
- Sewn in face screen keeps insects out- or leave the face zipper open when insects aren’t present.
- There are loops at the four corners and sides to secure the bivy to your tarp to keep it in place.
