If you love something, set it free?

Hands down my fav 2 person shelter, but it’s time to cut ties. Kiddo oriented trips have me doing more frequent shorter trips close to home…in the humid Midwest. They carry a double rainbow (light and easy setup for younger kids, but single wall), I’m feeling the need to carry a double wall shelter for insurance on a guaranteed dry place for them to sleep.

I would guess it has 20-30 nights of use and has done a great job keeping me dry through rain, snow, and hail. There are a few small issues, I tried to capture them in the pics –

Floor repair – I set up in the dark and ended up on a stump. It put 2 small punctures in the floor (and popped my gf’s uberlite). Patched with seam grip +sil and a matching piece of fabric from Yama.

Fly repair – Small pinhole near main side door zipper, patched with seam grip +sil when I did the floor.

Mesh – small hole/pull on main side near entry zipper.

Mfg date for the tent is April 2020. I replaced the Yama lines with Lawson glowire.
