Planning to introduce my 6yo to backpacking this year, need backpack for him. Read reviews saying this Deuter was good and adjustable so it would last several years of growth. Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Hey Ive taken my kiddo backpacking the last two years when he was 5 and then 6. You don’t need a framed backpack and shouldn’t use one as its way too heavy for a kid that size. I got him a day pack that he carried a few things in and I had the rest. Also read this blog post about backpacking with kids and setting expectations.
