Western Mountaineering Alpinlite, modified. $300 OBO 38.55oz

It’s a funky bag, I just want to sell it as it doesn’t have a fit in my systems. Make an offer if you’re really interested.

Originally a 20 degree bag, but had several ounces of down added by WM, not sure how many, but more than 5oz. Hard to tell because the hood was cut off and idk what that weighed. Probably warm to 5-10 degrees. Think of it as a modular cool weather sleep system with the down balaclava. Comes with WM cotton storage sack.

Original owner removed the hood and sewed it up to be more quilt-like, and the second owner sent it to WM to add a bunch of down. Loft on the OEM Alpinlite is advertised as 5”, photos show on this bag it’s about 6” in the middle, and 8” at the head and foot. Definitely warmer than a 20 degree bag. I was positively roasting in it just below freezing, 30 degrees, and based off those old calculations of loft to insulation or whatever, I think it clocks in around a 5-10 degree bag, with head insulation. Fits into a Zpacks Large stuff sack. If you want that I’ll throw it in for 10$
