$250 for both rods and the gear.

At the ripe age of 74 I have decided to change some strategies for fishing.   I have two Tenkara Rods near mint condition with some gear.

The HANE  (on right side of picture) is offered at $125, if you want to buy it separately.  It lists new at $160 and states that it extends to 10′ 10″,  but it only really extends to about 10′ 5″.   The Rod, the case and the bag weigh exactly 9 oz on my scale.  The Rod in the bag weighs only 4.18 oz.   The Rod in the bag contracts to 15″.   The case is 16.75 “.    I replaced a tip on the rod and thus there is an extra tip that comes with it.   The extra parts of the Rod are the last three sections.    Two parts are good.  The middle section is broken, even though it may look good.

The IWANA is offered at $135, if you want to buy it separately.  It lists new for $170 and although it states that it extends to 12′, it is really 10′ 8″.    The Rod, case and bag weigh a combined 8.19 oz.   The Rod and bag weigh only 2.76 oz., which is pretty sweet for the ultra-light packer.    The case is skinnier than the Hane, but longer.   The rod in the bag contracted is 20.5″ and in the case is 23”.

The GEAR goes with the person who buys both rods.   The gear is probably $50 to $70 in value.

The gear includes   3X, 4X and 5X Flourocarbon Tippet line,  Level Line and Backing fly line, tapered line, furled line, about 10 flies (in the round mint box) and a handy device that attaches to a belt loop to hold the different lines.     Again the gear goes with the Rods.

If I have to sell the rods separately, I will ask $35 for the gear.

The first set of pictures are of the HANE, then the GEAR and then the IWANA.
