I have a Sierra Designs Comet CD tent, probably 20 or so years old, that I no longer expect to use.  This is a very solid 4-season tent which I used for car-camping on ski, etc trips.  As of now, it’s still fully functional, fly and floor still waterproof, but it obviously does not have a bright future, which is why I’m willing to give it away.  It could, of course, be salvaged by stripping and recoating or siliconing, but I’m not interested in doing that.  If you are willing to do so, you could have a good tent for some time to come; if not, you could have a passable tent for a couple more seasons.
