Well used but still in great functional shape. 2 tears in the outer cover so listed it as fair. 1 on each bag. Lots of use left. We tried multiple packs and settled on this one as the best. My rule is if my pack comes off so does my dog’s pack. 4 clips separate it from the harness. Lots of capacity for week long trips. Bonus: it was worn by the world’s greatest backpacking dog: Buddy. (Your opinion may vary.) I lost him a while back and both of the dogs I have now are quite a bit smaller. I’ve already bought a medium for whichever one gets to go on longer trips and a Ruffwear Approach for weekend trips when they both go. In great shape. Only used it for about a year when I saw a Palisades pack and decided to switch. It has an M on it so it’s supposed to be a medium but it seems more like a large. It did fit my 82 lb Golden. It seems to run a little larger than the Ruffwear packs but I’d think it would be fine for a typical Lab or Golden, for example. Opening the pack up and measuring the chest strap between the clips appears to be about 27-38″ from the shortest to longest setting.

I’ve hand washed them but there’s bound to be a few dog hairs on them.
