This stove has a stand for turning the propane canister upside down. When using a stove a canister stove in frigid temps, the fuel will not properly vaporize below certain temperatures.  (It is different for each fuel type, and different brands can use different fuel mixtures).  Turning the canister upside down, solves this problem, but the burner needs to be designed for handling the fuel in it’s liquid form rather than the vaporized form that most canister stoves use.  This is a dependable and robust solution for cold weather camping and backpacking. Very easy to use and dependable.
